As an executor of Night Chains and the owner of "Pupil's Fashion", Margiela has gained recognition and trust from everyone in various roles. She no longer needs to play the idealized role she once craved, for she has truly become a witch herself. Still, this never means she abandons her fondness for role-playing. The touching warmth she brings to others by briefly embodying different characters and making them real is a miracle that even magic can never replace.

At the first glance of the poster of "Witch's Odyssey," Margiela began preparing to sew a cosplay costume. Due to her fondness for the image of a "witch," she believed she would definitely love this movie.
After watching the movie in the cinema several times, she studied the protagonist's costume design carefully. As an experienced cosplayer, crafting a highly accurate replica was never a hard task for her. Still, Margiela often fell into deep thought mid-sewing, slowing down her progress greatly.
She poured her whole heart into making the clothes and felt a strong bond with the character. What touched her most was the plot where the protagonist gave up all her achievements at the magic academy after going through countless hardships, and walked her own unique path as a witch alongside her friends. This scene kept echoing in her mind.
She realized simple imitation was far from enough. She yearned to become a genuine witch, brave enough to face her true feelings and embrace every side of herself. After wandering far from home for years, this once fading aspiration became clear and firm again.
Though she had no idea where to begin, she decided to start with the costume in her hands, the thing she loved the most. With this resolve, she revised her drafts repeatedly and picked out fabrics carefully. Finally, an exclusive outfit that belonged solely to Margiela the Witch was finished. Everyone who saw it praised her: "It fits you so well, as if you were born to wear it."
While working as a fortune-telling witch offering guidance in the divination house of Night Chains Land, Margiela never needs to wield her Ascension Ability. That power serves no purpose within this little dreamlike haven. She merely listens to people's troubles and perplexities, and offers uplifting replies based on her own observation and judgment.
"Isn't it wonderful? Everyone leaves feeling lighter, smiles returning to their eyes... No Ascension Abilities could ever do this!" Magira's voice brims with uncontained delight as she speaks. "I cannot truly solve all their troubles, yet in this fleeting moment, I've sown seeds of magic in their hearts. Someday, they will surely take root and bloom."
Magira waves her magic wand. Under her deft control, her immense power condenses into a dazzling star at the wand's tip, brightening her glowing face and the person before her.
"This is incredibly powerful magic, isn't it? But..."
The witch tilts her head and flashes a mischievous grin.
"You're far better at casting this spell, Dear Conductor! I've already fallen under its charm, and there's no way to break free... You will take full responsibility for me, won't you?"
"So this is Margiela's shop? It's amazing!"
After Margiela invited Masaki over to her cosplay costume store, Masaki couldn't help but exclaim in awe.
"I can handle my abilities much more freely now, and I'm able to make custom adjustments for others too." Margiela said as she showed Masaki what she could do. "This way, when people put on the outfits, they truly feel like they've become the character, instead of just wearing clothes that look the same."
"You're truly outstanding, Margiela."
No longer do they share that profound sense of merging into one being, yet the intimate rapport between these two kindred souls still remains. Margiela knew Masaki meant every word, not just empty courtesy.
She broke into a gentle smile.
"And you're truly adorable, Masaki."
"Huh? B-but... I mean... I'm indeed younger than you, but we're not talking about the same thing..."
Seeing her flustered look, Margiela laughed heartily, and the embarrassed Masaki soon smiled along with her. Their reflections in the shop window looked just like real sisters. Perhaps this was exactly the warm sight that lonely witch had always yearned for.
After learning the whole story, Margiela once thought about going home to visit her parents.
She wanted to tell them that she was living a happy life now. Most of all, she hoped to let her mother know that witches were nothing to be feared.
Thinking back to how her mother could only secretly use Ascension Ability to ease her burdens when no one was around, Margiela believed her youthful mother must have longed for someone to tell her that life need not be lived in constant dread, and that no vicious witch would lay curses upon others.
Yet she knew full well that the fear of witches had long taken deep root in her family's minds. If she, now a witch, showed up out of the blue, things would surely end badly.
Thus Margiela chose to bring joy to everyone in her identity as a witch, by working as a fortune-teller at Night Chains Land, crafting dream-weaving costumes at Pupil's Fashion, and eliminating hidden dangers within Bonfire Cities as a Night Chains executor.
She held a firm hope. Someday, just as the surface world was influenced by Imperial witch culture, the beloved image of witches from the surface would spread back to the Empire, gradually fading away all prejudices against them.
People would no longer regard all witches as evil beings, and her family would no longer live in fear of illusory terrors.
By then, the ideal world once longed for by the ordinary girl named Betty would surely come true.
Dear Dear Conductor! Hmm~? I'm not cosplaying, this is the true form of Margiela the Witch!
Rest assured and leave everything to Margiela the Witch.
Where did the lock go? — Oh, is dear Conductor pretending not to know?
Masaki, that little rascal, is so much younger than me, yet speaks so bluntly, hehe... I'm saying she's cute, don't you think so, Dear Conductor?
Cosplay? I haven't given it up at all. How could I give up my hobbies and pursuits! Moreover, now I can modify the details of my costume with even more meticulous magic... It's very convenient.
You want to feel the vibe of those fortune tellers in the movies? Sure... Dear customer, please place your hand on my crystal ball — hey, gotcha! I won't let go for the rest of the day~
Dear Conductor, in a way, you've already seen me bare from head to toe and inside out, so you must — hey, don't just run off...
The cobweb decoration on my costume was initially just to add a sense of mystery, and it looked really nice... But in the world of witches, cobweb is a material that represents "connection."
Though witches are always associated with lies, I believe Dear Conductor can hear my true feelings, can't you? Since you are really perceptive, I never worry about being misunderstood by you.
The Little Witch animation is getting a new release! It will be broadcast next month... You'll definitely make time to watch it with me, right, Dear Conductor?
Dear Conductor, if Masaki and I fall into water at the same time... Oh wait, let me ask if she can swim...
Dear Conductor, do you believe in "Fate"? I've been thinking about it lately. The reunion with Masaki, the acquaintance with you — were these things preordained? Hah, don't worry, I don't mind being dominated like this.
I wish all children would never fear to embrace happiness. If one praises misfortune out of guilt and escapism, they shall never find the way to joy... I truly, truly hope so. Hehe, it hardly sounds like words a witch would speak, does it?
If I hadn't met Dear Conductor, perhaps I would never have had the courage to face the past and the future. Therefore, I'm truly, truly grateful to you... Alright, enough of my confession! Let's do something more enjoyable!
Mm-hm, it's time for the witch to shine.
Well done. Let's keep going.
Haah... I'm feeling a bit sleepy...
Fate ordained. Alea iacta est!
Dear Conductor, please look away for now~
I've already made my choice... but why...
How can a witch... fall like this...
Praise me more~ Praises can make a witch even stronger!
