Failed Angel entity, Raziel. Determined to be a failed transformation subject during LRA-00 and precipitated a ■-level incident and a series of dangerous events within Haima Zaria. However, with the efforts of CBCRR23 the Eternal's conductor and Source Citadel members who made it in time, LRA-00 was successfully resolved and did not cause any additional casualties. As this entity was once a Source Citadel mentor and is acquainted with CBCRR23 the Eternal's conductor, she has received special approval to stay on the Eternal, provided her mental state remains stable, and to be kept under observation and accept regular treatments.

Even though she has already been determined to be a failed Angel entity, Raziel's situation is considered relatively stable for the most part. Unlike Ushana, who has greater mood swings and who acts much more energetically and dangerous, Raziel doesn't usually carry a weapon, nor is she aggressive toward regular people.
If you were to overlook her appearance, there would probably only be something marginally off as you converse with her. The way she acts is virtually identical to the "original Raziel" sometimes. All in all, although this body's "memory" has disappeared, its "habits" and "feelings" have been retained somehow.
This disparity made many people who knew the old Raziel feel utterly unaccustomed. Among them, some began regarding Raziel as an entirely new individual, while some opted to temporarily avoid meeting this thoroughly different Raziel.
After all those things that transpired in Haima Zaria, the conflict between Ushana and Raziel was pretty much concluded. However, this has left people wondering, how exactly should these so-called failed Angel entities be treated? Should the lives they used to have be returned to their new self?
Raziel's Ascension Ability didn't change too much in nature, but the way it manifested has practically reversed entirely. In the past, she, as a Citadel mentor, maintained a conservative and cautious attitude toward Ascension Abilities. "Mind Walk," which was used to analyze one's thoughts and feelings, was hardly ever utilized by her even though it could make a simple conversation smoother. Now, however, as an Angel, Raziel would unhesitatingly turn endless thoughts and feelings into torrents and use them on the battlefield. Due to that, she would appear especially frenetic during combat as all sorts of thoughts and feelings engulf her.
After Raziel processed and obtained sufficient data and embodied thoughts — commonly known as "crystallization" — from Unbewusstes, her mental state stabilized, and part of her appearance was also returning to its former humanly state. But as of now, the odds of her body completely returning to normal are exceedingly low, much less her psyche and memory.
In any case, she has changed, but she's also growing and recovering bit by bit, slowly learning the knowledge of this world and becoming a new "person." Facing such a child, who could possibly criticize her?
Lissandra, Dustin, and other old acquaintances of Raziel have provided substantial assistance in her recovery and readaptation. They all behave with extreme caution toward Raziel, particularly Lissandra, who keeps avoiding meeting this former friend of hers in person. Lissandra might not have ever verbalized it, but her behavior makes it adequately clear: She believes the current Raziel is an entirely different entity and therefore has no need to inherit Raziel's previous life and relationships.
However, Raziel herself has a different perspective. As her understanding of the surrounding world deepened, she started having a myriad of questions and also began wondering about her past. "What was life like for Raziel?" "What kind of person was she?" These questions aren't easy for others to answer. Hence, she has chosen to seek them herself in daily life and in every matter that's relevant to the past.
Her search will never end. Just like any child that is born in the world, she is presently walking her own path that nobody can do in her stead. That said, as friends and companions, the Eternal crew can provide her with appropriate guidance and company. I implore you all to do so, and I believe you will.
— One of Lissandra's letters, archived
"I am simply here to deliver some books. Although I picked them based on my preferences, she should probably... You all can read them too. For Raziel, these books should be perfect for her need to relearn the world."
"Got it. But won't you say something to her?"
"No need."
"All right. We will pass them to her. Please rest assured, Ms. Lissandra."
Right as Livia accepts the few books Lissandra hands over, the carriage door behind them opens. The executor in red turns around and happens to come face to face with Raziel, who's entering the carriage.
In her quest to relearn herself and the world, Raziel finally made it here. She has chosen to personally meet this person who has given her lots of gifts, this friend of the old Raziel, albeit to her, they have never met until now.
"Hello. ...Are you Lissandra?"
"Yes."
"Were we friends?"
"...Yes."
"Then can we be friends again?"
"Of course. But that is entirely up to you. Should you not want to —"
"I want to get to know you and many, many others." Raziel flashes a genuine smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lissandra."
Once again, the new Raziel extends her hand toward "her" old friend and her brand new life.
I'm Raziel. That's what they told me. It seems I have caused you trouble before, though I no longer remember it...
It's time for a shift change? That's fast.
Were you calling me? No, I just wasn't paying attention. Raziel, Raziel, I have to remember that name.
I think I had a dream. I've forgotten what happened in it, but it felt really warm and safe...
I've totally forgotten what I was like before, but everyone always talks about her with a smile. Was she a really nice... Ah, I shouldn't say that. Sorry.
Sorting documents and organizing books. For some reason, these things are a cakewalk for me.
Regardless of what I was like in the past, she has already found a new life. But I'll take it as a compliment that I'm a lot like her.
Conductor, the way you look at me... Do you have a story about her to tell me?
Logically speaking, I shouldn't feel any sense of belonging in the Citadel since I didn't stay there long after waking up. But it gives me such a sense of familiarity seeing those children in that uniform. Is this also a feeling she left for me...?
Conductor, do you know a lady named Lissandra? A mentor of the Citadel? I see. She had someone bring me some books but didn't leave any note. I guess she was her old friend...
Someone said I'm like a wholly different person in combat. I know that's a compliment, but which exactly is the real me? Conductor, I long to hear your answer.
I like looking out at the Bonfire City at night from a high vantage point. It's beautiful. Those lights that shine all night make me feel really at ease...
On many nights, when I open my eyes, I'd feel in a trance, wondering if I was still dreaming. Conductor, could this world also just be somebody's dream?
I love humans, love those brilliant people and those radiant souls that take my breath away. Is this what she left me too? That's nice. She left me the best gift. How I wish I could witness this radiance with her.
I'll do my best to assist you.
I sense enemies up ahead...
Let's move forward.
Appear before me once more!
Ah... argh... Ahhh! Hahahahaha!
I'm sorry... This happens again... in front of you...
I never want... to let you down...
It's only natural. After all, I'm Raziel. I'll keep it up.
